Design for what's next: AI-native tools, spatial computing and social at scale.

Meta Horizon · 2026

Horizon Studio, Meta's new AI game-creation tool, shipped on this system at Meta Connect 2026. I initiated the project, built the proof of concept, and defined the approach: AI-readable Markdown files that carry the design language into any AI tool for prototyping and steer a fork of Meta's mature design system in production. That approach made a custom system feasible on a launch timeline: 5 designers and 2 part-time engineers delivered all essential components in 2–3 weeks, under half the traditional estimate, across all 7 product areas.

Meta Quest & Horizon · 2023–2025

How people move between worlds and apps on Meta Quest, featured in the Meta Connect opening keynote in 2024 and 2025. I proposed the initiative when travel was fractured across teams, consolidated every entry point into one consistent action, and later led a 10–15-person cross-org creative strike team from the first tap through transitions, loading and arrival. Together with engineering, the team removed black screens from app launches, eliminating about 76% of system-level black screens, and cut travel failures from about a third to under 3%.

LiveLike · 2018

The spatial design system behind LiveLike's white-label VR sports platform, used in more than 30 apps for events like the FIFA World Cup, Premier League and Super Bowl. I built it from scratch: research into theaters, TV lounges and sports bars, two rounds of user testing across different heights, and rules for environments, interfaces and interactive objects, delivered as diagrams, 3D renders and Unity packages. With it, the same-size team could support five clients at once, and average app ratings rose 0.7 stars.

LiveLike · 2019–2021

How LiveLike turned watching sports in VR and on mobile from a solo experience into a shared one. I redesigned the VR avatar system for inclusive self-expression, designed Watch Party so friends could watch together, and designed the fan engagement features in LiveLike's first mobile SDK. LiveLike's social viewing drew praise from Sky's Head of Immersive Technology and former NBA commissioner David Stern.
